Terms of Use Agreement

This Terms of Use Agreement represents a binding legal agreement between you and our company, Online Resume Builder (also "Company," "we," "us," "our"), and governs your use of our website, products, and services. Resume Builder Online is hosted in the United States. When you use our site, you agree to be bound not only by these terms but also by the laws of the U.S. on a state and federal level, as well as those of your own jurisdiction. If you are under the age of 13, you are not permitted to register on our site or make use of our services. Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have parental permission and supervision to use this website.

If you register on our site, you agree to be bound by the terms in this agreement. It is your responsibility to read the document in full and understand it, as well as to check back regularly for updates or modifications. We reserve the right to alter this document at any time. The current terms will apply to you regardless of when you registered on our website.

Our Services

The services we provide relate to resume and cover letter creation and distribution. Some services provide are free, while others require payment. When you register, you'll be presented with subscription plans and prompted to choose one. The membership features for our subscriptions are listed on this page.

Payment

You may pay for our services using a credit or debit card. The first payment will post immediately. Monthly service charges will accrue in advance and renew automatically for the same period as the original paid period. This is done for your convenience. When you sign up for services and provide your payment information, you agree to the automatic renewals and charges to the card you provide. These renewals and charges will occur without prior authorization from you; your authorization is your acceptance of these terms and provision of your payment information.

You have the option of canceling at any time if you would like to avoid future payments. You may do this by using the "Deactivate Account" feature, which you'll find in your member area settings. We will not refund your initial payment. If there are any chargebacks from your account, we reserve the right to deactivate your account immediately and to pursue a fee of $35.00 through collections. If there are any fees associated with collections or legal fees, you will be responsible for those fees. If your payment information changes, resulting in a chargeback, you will be responsible for any and all fees. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date. You will also be responsible for any and all taxes levied by any governmental authorities at the time of your payment.

Refund Policy

All payments for our services are nonrefundable. There will be no refunds or returns for any reason. This includes your initial payment and all subsequent payments.

User Representations

When you register on our site, you are telling us that all the information you are submitting is truthful and that you are accurately representing yourself. You are telling us you are age 13 or older, and that if you are under age 18, you have the permission and supervision of your parent or legal guardian to use our site. You also are affirming that you are taking responsible for the secrecy of your password and that you will not share your account with any other person(s). You agree that you abide by all governmental laws at all levels. If we suspect you have provided us with inaccurate information or have attempted to use this website in an illegal manner, we will terminate your account immediately.

You also are forbidden from linking to objectionable or malicious content. These standards are entirely at our discretion. You will not submit content that is libelous or slanderous or urges violent overthrow of the United States government or otherwise incites anyone to violent action.

If any of the content you submit falls under the proprietary jurisdiction of your past or current employer, you verify you have received that employer's permission to submit it to our website. You may not violate any laws which regulate electronic advertising, nor will you engage in "trolling." You also are forbidden from submitting excessively large files. This is again at our discretion.

By submitting your content to our site, you are granting us a nonexclusive, transferable, royalty-free, sub-licensable, fully paid global right and license to use your content in any way we deem necessary in order to provide you with our services. Indemnity

In the case of any dispute, you agree that you will defend and indemnify the Company and any of our employees, directors, officers, or agents harmless from and against any liability, claim, demand, damage, or loss made by any third party which has arisen from your use of our content or services or resulting from a violation of our Terms and Conditions. It is our sole right at your expense to assume exclusive defense in any matter for which you are required to indemnify our company. If such an action is required, we will take all reasonable efforts to provide you with notice in advance.

Notices

Should we need to contact you at any time, we will do so using the email address you provided us with when you registered for our site. It is your responsibility to keep your email address up to date in our system. Unless we receive a notification that your address has bounced or is invalid, we will deem that any notices we have sent you have been received 24 hours after we have sent them.

If we fail to exercise our rights as laid out in this contract, we have neither waived nor forfeited those rights. Our company is not responsible or liable for any losses or damages beyond our reasonable control or in violation of this contract.

If at any time any provision of this contract is deemed unenforceable under current laws, that portion will be void and severed from the whole. Such an instance will not nullify or void the remaining sections of the agreement.
