What is ResumeBuilderOnline.org?

ResumeBuilderOnline.org is a online service where you give us your resume information, and we do all the work! Simply plug in information about yourself, work experience, education, and certifications and ResumeBuilderOnline.org exports the information into resume form. All you have to do is download your new resume using Microsoft® Word!

How do I use this site?

There are two main services we offer at ResumeBuilderOnline.org. The main service is providing you with a resume. To start, press the "START HERE" button on the main page. We will ask you to sign up and give some of your person information. This information is what goes on your resume. You will then go through filling out your education, certifications, and work experience by typing in the information or selecting dates from the drop down menus. You will then be asked to select the format you want your resume exported as either:

.DOC (MS Word 1997-2003)
.DOCX (MS Word 2007-2012)

The second service we provide is free access to articles and advice on creating a resume that stands out from the rest. These articles are available on the right navigation bar of the home page.

What if I don't have Microsoft® Word on my computer?

Although ResumeBuilderOnline.org can only export your resume as a MS Word file, there are alternatives to open the file if you don't have MS Word. OpenOffice is a free alternative to Microsoft Suite. After downloading OpenOffice, you can export your resume into a MS Word file in the designated folder you send it to. From your computer, go to where the Word file was downloaded and right click on it. Choose "open as" and scroll down to "OpenOffice."

Why should I use ResumeBuilderOnline.org?

ResumeBuilderOnline.org allows you to create a resume without needing to format your own layout. Most professional resume writing websites want over $200 to make you a resume.
